Rev. Dr. Darnell Vernon Ranson was licensed to preach the gospel in 1997.  Later; he was ordained in 1999 and installed simultaneously as the Assistant Pastor of his home Church New Christian Bible Baptist. Some years later (2002) Pastor Ranson was called by God to begin a new ministry work  and to leave his comfort zone as the assistant  pastor of his home Church.  This call resulted in him traveling  overseas to east Africa, London and across United States of America as an North America Missionary.  Dr. Ranson accepted his call  by faith in 2002 to start a new work, and  on December 18 ,2002, Dr. Ranson founded Bethlehem Baptist Church.  Furthermore, pastor Ranson incorporated the church which is now recognized by the State of Maryland  and Federal Government (IRS) as a bona-a fide religious 501 c 3 non-profit organizations. Pastor Ranson is a native of Baltimore Maryland truly fully committed to kingdom building in in Baltimore City. He received his  Doctorate Degree in theology in June 2003 from the Philadelphia Bible College and Seminary, Associates Art Degree in Business Management  for Essex Community College of Baltimore County and will be attending Morgan State University in pursuit of his bachelors’ degree . Pastor Ranson is married  to Michele for 20 years and out of that union God blessed them with a daughter named Sharnele P. Ranson. An addition, out of love and compassion for his community he became a mentor  to at risk  youth resulting in him  founding what is now  known as the “Kidz Safe Haven Community Outreach " in 2003" Rev. Dr. Darnell V.
